It is often said that there is always a double of someone out there in the world. Truly there are people who do look alike and could easily pass off as twins or siblings.
Celebrities are not left out of this theory. Over time we have seen celebrities who do like other celebrities. Mostly these celebrities are in the same entertainment sector and do look very much alike.
Celeb Police uncovers some of celebrity look-alikes in the entertainment industry.
1. Majek Fashek and Hanks Anuku
Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, is a reggae singer, song writer and guitarist. He is best known for the 1988 album “Prisoner of Conscience” which included the single “Send Down the Rain” which won him several awards. Majek Fashek’s look alike is Hanks Anuku. Hanks is an actor. He often stars as a villian in many Nollywood movies.
2. May D and Adekunle Gold
Akinmayokun Awodunmila also known as May D is a R&B/Pop singer. He is the C.E.O of “Confam Entertainment”. The singer is well known for his singles “Ile Ijo” and “Gat Me High”. May D’s celebrity look alike is Adekunle Gold. Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known by his stage name, Adekunle Gold, is a singer, songwriter and graphic designer. He has described his genre of music as urban highlife.
3. Genevieve Nnaji and Ivie Okujaye
Genevieve Nnaji is a talented actress and singer. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005. Genevieve is one of the most prominent actresses in Nollywood. Her celebrity look alike is Ivie Okujaye. Ivie is an actress, producer, scriptwriter, dancer, singer and activist. In 2009 she participated and won the Amstel Malta Box Office(AMBO) reality TV show.
4. Tu Baba and Joe El
Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known by his stage name 2face Idibia, is a singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. He officially discontinued the use of his name Tuface and selected 2baba or Tu-baba. His celebrity look alike is Joe el. Joel Amadi popularly known as Joe el is singer signed to Kennis Music label. He has featured Tu Baba himself on his song “Hold On”.
5. Di’Ja and Nneka
Nneka is a singer who first gained public attention in 2004 while performing as an opening act for dancehall reggae star Sean Paul at Hamburg Stadtpark. Her look alike is Di’ja. Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, is a singer, visual artist and songwriter. She is currently signed to Mavin Records.
