Romelu Lukaku has said his final farewell to Everton as his four years at Goodison Park comes to an end. The Belgian striker’s move to Manchester United is just his official unveiling away from being complete.
And as his new team-mates arrived in Los Angeles, where Lukaku is holidaying, he wanted to make sure the Toffees faithful knew how he felt about them.
After completing his medical on Sunday morning following the clubs agreeing a fee starting at £75 million, he said “a big thank you to all the people involved at Everton”.

And when he said everyone, he meant everyone.
“I want to thank the fans for your support throughout the 4 years we’ve spend together,” he wrote.
“You guys helped me through all my games and I can proudly say it was an honour to play in front of you.
“To the staff at the stadium and training ground, thank you for making me feel home from the first day I walked in.
“To my teammates it was great to play with you guys”.
Lukaku is now expected to link up with his new team mates ahead of the next phase of their pre-season preparation.
Arsenal makes the third bid for Thomas Lemar
In order news, Arsenal has prepared a third bid for Thomas Lemar which the London club hope will do the magic of turning Monaco’s hands. Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger is convinced the France winger wants to join Arsenal.
Wenger has already seen bids of £30 million and the latest £40m offer turned down by Monaco but Arsenal are refusing to give up as they believe they can get their man.
It could see another mega deal for Arsenal who are willing to pay £45m-plus to try to get Lemar which would be the second time they have beaten their old transfer record this window.
