See a Warri church marchmaking women with men (video)

The Founder and General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, in Warri, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, shocked his congregation when his prophecy took a different turn as he called out single men and women in his church and asked them to select their partners from among themselves.

During the selection, long queues emerged behind the men who came out as single ladies, scrambling for their hands in marriage.

In a video already gone viral, the man of God summoned a lady and asked if she was married and when she replied in the negative, the pastor ordered her to choose any man she likes in the auditorium.

The woman is then seen searching through the congregation to see a man of her choice.

When the lady could not find any man, the man of God concluded that there was a demonic mark upon her preventing her prospective husband from locating her, and demanded from her how many men have slept with her.

He said, “Chop and go. How many men don chop you?”

The pastor eventually summoned all single men to file out and spinsters to line up behind the men of their choice.

Saying, “If anybody wants to marry anyone here come and touch the person – any person you like.

“We cannot allow women to be like this forever. I want to marry for these people.
“Look at your back. I give you people from now till month end to screen your wives. Nobody should go and meet for nightooo.”

He promised to sponsor the mass wedding of the would-be couples.

Rooney moves to Everton as Lukaku completes transfer to Manchester United

By Toyin Akiode

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney has moved back to boyhood club Everton after leaving almost 13 years ago. Merseyside papers  announced the great news yesterday to the delight of the fans who are already aware of the inevitable departure of their main striker, Romelu Lukaku.

During the 2002/2003 season, the teenage Rooney (18 years at the time) announced his big career to the world by scoring a wonder goal against then impervious Arsenal at Goodison Park. That strike ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run.

After that goal, no one was left in doubt about the quality of the fearless and energetic teenager.

Rooney made a transfer request in August 2004, despite Everton having offered him an improved contract valued at £50,000 per week.

With many potential tutors at hand, Everton rejected a bid of £20 million from Newcastle.

Ultimately, Rooney signed for Manchester United at the end of August 2005  after a £25.6 million deal was reached. It was a record fee then to be paid for a teenager.

Sir Alex Ferguson, then manager of United, said that “There were plenty of eyebrows raised” when he persuaded the club’s board of directors to sanction “a multi-million pound” move to try to sign Rooney from Everton.

Way Rooney went ahead to become one of the best players to have ever featured for Manchester United. He played 559 games for the Red Devils and scored 253 goals.

Rooney won five league titles, an FA Cup and UEFA Champions League during a very successful career under Ferguson.

His return to Goodison Park reveals what many already know – That Wayne is not just about the big money (he could have gone to China) but competition and deep love for the game.

Lukaku to Manchester United

It was revealed that Romelu Lukaku undeetook his medicals towards completing an internal British transfer record of £75million to Manchester United from Everton.

The official Twitter handle of the club confirmed that there is already an agreement reached with Everton for the Belgian Transfer. It however went further to say that further announcements would be made in due course.

Journalists have highlighted past experience involving Nigerian, John Mikel Obi as the basis of the coyness from Old Trafford on Lukaku’s move.

All fingers crossed, Manchester United seem to hold the ace this time around with the movement of Rooney to the other side.

I fasted for 7 days and 7 nights before I was released- Obasanjo

The US ambassador told me not to return to Nigeria because of the plan to arrest me by the junta. The ambassador also told me that the US Government had concluded plans to grant me asylum.

“While I appreciated the US Government, I rejected the offer. I was supposed to travel to France from the US. After I heard about Abacha’s plan, I cancelled my flight to France. I came through the United Kingdom to Nigeria. Abacha knew about my trip. When I arrived Nigeria, they were surprised because they expected me to be in France.

“I was in my farm when somebody came to see me. I left farm to see them. It was Ooni of Ile-Ife and Maj.-Gen. David Jemibewon. They said we needed to go and beg Abacha. I asked them why. They explained everything. But I told them that there was no need.

“And I returned to my farm immediately. Just after they left, a police officer came in mufti. He said the AIG wanted me to come and advise him. I told him that was not true. I explained to him that if an AIG needed my advice, he would come to my house.

“My wife insisted that she would go with me anywhere they wanted to take me to. I got to the AIG at Zone II. He said I was under arrest. From Zone II, they took me to police officers’ mess, Ikeja. From Ikeja, they transferred me to Ikoyi where I spent about three days.”

He, thus, said agitation for his release started, noting that former US President Jimmy Carter and African leaders “came and pleaded on my behalf. After their intervention, I was released. But Abacha placed me under house arrest and I could not go out. I was only playing game in my farm.”

Sad enough, Obasanjo said Abacha’s men came again and arrested him, noting that a man he never met before pointed at him. “But the man claimed that he met me when I launched my book. The man said I planned coup. He said he was in my farm office for that purpose. “They started investigation. After some time, they said I had been charged for treason, and this was punishable by death. Consequently, they set up a three-man court martial. The military court eventually decided against me. And they took me to the dungeon.”

After three months in the dungeon, Obasanjo said he was taken “to Kirikiri where I met Yar’Adua. We spent four nights before I was taken to Jos. After some time, they moved to Yola. But they decided that Yar’Adua and I should be poisoned. Yar’Adua was injected.

“And that led to the virus that eventually killed him. A doctor wanted to take my blood sample. I refused because I had some trace of diabetes. I did not allow him to take my blood sample. After three weeks, he came again to take my blood sample. I told him that he would not take my blood sample without my doctor’s consent,” Obasanjo explained.

He said he was surprised one day when one of the prison officials informed him that Abacha had died, though he said he discarded the news of Abacha’s death. Eventually, he said it turned out to be true.

Obasanjo, however, said he regained his freedom after praying and fasting for seven days without eating and drinking, which he said, really developed his spiritual instinct and life.

Foluke Adeboye: Celebrating a ‘Mother in Israel’ at 69

Foluke Adeboye

Many women are recorded in the Holy Bible as exhibiting leadership qualities in both the Old and New Testaments; and their notable deeds in the ministry will remain so until the Lord comes. Miriam, the sister of Aaron was a prophetess and one of the leaders of Israel during the Exodus from Egypt. The Book of Judges 4 & 5 records Deborah as a prophet-judge, who headed the army of ancient Israel, and Esther, who saved the people of Israel from the antics of Haman. Huldah, a prophet, verified the authenticity of the “Book of the Law of the Lord given through Moses,” and activated a religious revival. Similarly, Paul described Phoebe as a minister of the church at Cenchrea; and Priscilla as a ‘’co-worker’’ in Christ Jesus” (Romans 16:3) The God that inspired the female prophets named above is still alive today, and is an Eternal Personality. The Lord has made it possible for women, though regarded and help-mates, to be able to function as ministers of the gospel, have equal access to His Throne, and the Holy Spirit; as God has not created a female or male anointing. Unquestionable God, therefore, uses any vessel He likes.

It is a widely accepted notion that the next place to hell are homes where couples cannot blend; thus missing peace, progress and happiness. Regrettably, many people miss the fulfillment of their divine agenda because of going into wrong marital unions. But God is a Perfect Arranger. The union of the global leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs) Foluke Adeboye would appear to be a perfect one designed by God in heaven, Who knows the beginning till the end of His creations, and designs their terrestrial journeys, even before we were born. One could say with every emphasis that Pastor Adeboye is indeed lucky to have married Mummy G.O; a helper of destiny who is an embodiment of so many virtues that have positively impacted the entire life and ministry of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide. And Mummy Adeboye too is exceptionally lucky to have discovered her husband. She most probably would not have been this useful to God and humanity, had she missed her husband.
Proverbs 18: 22 states that: ‘’Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.’’ Most ministers of God have been known to succeed in their services in God’s vineyard, because they are lucky and privileged to be blessed with supportive spouses, who dote on them virtually every second, and also create the enabling environment for the prosecution of their husbands’ divine assignments throughs intercessions and homely conducts.

Fondly addressed as Mummy G.O. by millions of people all over the world, testimonies abound about the milk of kindness that flows through this child of God. Mine will lead, for the purpose of celebrating Mummy Adeboye who turns 69 years old on July 13, 2017. My first physical encounter with the ‘First Lady’ of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Year 2001, was undoubtedly divinely arranged. My dear wife, and my humble self had to attend a function in Ilisan-Remo, and decided to utilize the opportunity to pray at the forecourt of the then RCCG International Office, directly opposite Daddy G.O’s office as at then. After joining hands in intercession for about an hour, we decided to leave a message at another point, at the junction leading to the former residence of the RCCG General Overseer, located on the Holiness Road at the RCCG camp. We had intended to leave a message there for our dear sister in the Lord, and blessed child of God, Pastor (Mrs) Margaret Boluwakole. Just as we parked and alighted from our vehicle, we saw Mummy Adeboye coming out towards the junction that led to their Holiness Road residence. Mummy G.O beckoned to us (my wife and I) to come in and personally led us into the living room of the Adeboyes!.

Unknown to us, that day was Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye’s 53rd birthday anniversary and top priests of the RCCG gathered beside the official residence of the Adeboyes, and were being entertained under a canopy. My wife and I started looking at ourselves as Mummy directed that we, inconsequential people, be lavishly entertained. Soon, Pastor Enoch Adeboye (Daddy G.O) came out from his room directly facing the living room. He greeted us briskly, prayed and blessed us; and made his way to his vehicle. Daddy G.O headed to the Ajebo Foresquare Church camp site to minister. Then came the time for us to depart. Soft spoken Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye said to us: ‘’I don’t know you, but I just decided to entertain you.’’ She then ordered that drinks and snacks be packed for us and she again escorted us out of the residence. We knew that the Holy Bible in Hebrews 13:2 instructs believers that: ‘’Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby, some have entertained angels unawares.’’ I reasoned that we are no angels and also felt that we were not that important to be accorded that type of hospitality. And we never barged into the premises of the Adeboyes. For several days thereafter, I wondered why God arranged for us to be mightily favoured that way, since we were not angels of the Lord, that people wittingly or unwittingly entertain. It was as if I was dreaming. I told my wife that I suspected that the Holy Spirit directed Mummy G.O. to go and invite us and entertain us; non-influential and insignificant personalities. I have said it repeatedly that I prefer meeting with great servants of God, than meeting with the President of the United States, who is the most powerful person in the world.

Most times when I reflect on some unusual occurrences, I Chronicles 17:16 eplodes: ‘’Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?’’ God also made it possible for my wife to have had the rare opportunity and priviledge of cooking and dishing the meals taken by Daddy and Mummy G.O. each time they came to minister at the annual convention of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, until we relocated to Abuja. I remember that whenever Daddy or Mummy G.O was asked how many people would be on their entourage, the reply was always: ‘’My wife, myself, my driver, and the Holy Spirit!’’ There was an occasion church leaders were detailed by Bishop Wale Oke to meet this wonderful couple at the Ibadan end toll gate of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. We were looking forward to seeing a big vehicle; but Pastor and Mrs. Adeboye drove into the arena of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries in a saloon car. Those who went to receive them at the toll gate never knew the Adeboyes had gone past them; while they were looking for Daddy and Mummy G.O. in big vehicles.

A lover of God, Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye is a wonderful sight to behold at worship sessions, shaking her tambourine almost aggressively in an atmosphere enveloped by the Holy Spirit, in appreciation of the grace and majesty of God. The worship sessions are moments of praise and graceful dance steps. But those dance steps are not for her husband, Pastor Adeboye to appreciate; but for the Lord. Mama Adeboye is reputed to be a calm and warm personality with sterling leadership qualities, and an unusual organizational ability. She is also ‘’endowed with immense grace and great capacity for hard work, and has proven to be a missionary and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ with a gift of intercession. A woman of virtue, millions of people have, through Mummy G.O. developed intimate relationships with God, as she touches lives through her simplicity and commitment to the divine agenda. Being a spiritual mother is a supernatural way to care for souls, especially priests. It is a type of maternity that nurtures divine life in others by doing God’s will. One notable feature of her life is that Mummy G.O is also a strict disciplinarian who brooks no nonsense or laxity in the ministry.

As spiritual mother to millions of people all over the world, including prominent religious leaders like Bishop Francis Wale Oke, Bishop David Oyedepo, Revd Joe Olaiya, Revd Moses Aransiola and Pastor Uzodinma Obed, among several others, she fits perfectly into the status of a Mother-in-Israel. Mummy G.O’s love and concern for her spiritual children is noteworthy. For example, Mummy G.O. practically relocated to the residence of the Oyedepos at the Covenant University, Otta, to perform a motherly role when the devil struck and Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo was attacked spiritually, a few years ago. That is a demonstration of true love, concern and motherhood. She is credited with an enormous inner strength and huge divine gifts that she has deployed to the work of God, particularly as pillar of support for her husband’s divine assignment. Her pattern of spiritual motherhood indicates that Mummy G.O’s first responsibility is to be led by the Holy Spirit, as God brings people into her life to mentor. She relates closely with her mentees and encourages them through prayers for them to continually grow and mature as Christians.

From available indications, Daddy G.O. is fortunate to have met and married Mummy Foluke Adeboye. Conversely, Mummy G.O. is lucky to have tolerated Daddy G.O’s excesses at the initial stages of their friendship and union. For this, Mrs. Adeboye is not only enjoying the reward of faithfulness of her husband, but also special blessings from the Lord who has sent her husband on a terrestrial errand. But like all other heros and heroines of all times, the Adeboyes are not perfect. Nothing comes easy. Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye commences her day with communion with God at about 3.00am. She remains in the place of prayer till, when she switches over to participate in the family devotion. It is no doubt a hectic schedule that was cultivated shortly after she and her husband knew Christ. She is so much committed to praying, that whenever her husband goes to minister and she has to stay at home, Mummy G.O would go into her prayer closet, urging God to help Daddy G.O. in his ministration. On more than one occasion, Mummy Adeboye would welcome her husband back and tell him some of God’s moves at the ministration she never attended. Her husband would be surprised and asked who told her. Who else but the Holy Spirit? Mrs. Adeboye would always reveal. Mummy G.O is equally hugely passionate about Nigeria; and the proper growth of the young ones. Therefore, that segment for prayers for Nigeria and youths at major meetings of the RCCG is reserved for Mrs. Adeboye, who has repeatedly admonishes families to prepare and nurture their children in the way of the Lord. She counsels that good leadership comes from good home training; as any society enjoying good leadership must prepare the young ones for positions of responsibility. Other notable traits are Mrs Adeboye’s hospitality and simplicity. Rev’d Moses Aransiola once confessed that he doesn’t know how Mummy G.O. does it, such that she remembers to send gifts to her numerous spiritual children on Christian festive seasons. In my part, I honestly cannot imagine the number of people who would have missed their goals and helpers of destinies, had the Adeboyes failed to honour the call of God; and the Creator fails to make a replacement.

Late Charles Spurgeon, a famous preacher, in his sermon delivered at ‘The Music Hall, Royal Surrey Gardens’ noted that: “There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and ‘’Friendship is the only thing in the world concerning the usefulness of which all mankind are agreed.

‘’Friendship seems as necessary an element of a comfortable existence in this world as fire or water, or even air itself.’’ Together, the Adeboyes have weathered unimaginable storms of life, and have lived exemplary lives as model husband and wife, such that observers couldn’t but always wonder if the couple has ever had reasons to disagree at all. But in reality, they must have their ‘’rough edges’’ as human beings; but love, reasoning, prayers, perseverance and understanding matter a lot. Every so often, they appear at venues of their ministrations in the same type of dresses, and are almost inseparable in their public outings. And Pastor Adeboye has constantly said, jocularly, that whoever wants to court his trouble should touch her dear ‘’girl friend’’ as Daddy G.O. occasionally describes Mummy G.O in his ministrations.

The conducts of this couple are shining examples for the younger generation, and a good case study tor budding ministers of the gospel. Daddy G.O acknowledges the fact that he was rotten before he knew Christ. This is one of the reasons why Pastor Adeboye quite often that if he was Jesus Christ, he wouldn’t have forgiven Adeboye, because he was very rotten. Yet Mummy Adeboye tolerated the supposed excesses of her husband. She is today reaping what she sowed in prayers, persistence, perseverance, and true love. Some other women would have stormed out of the relationship, only to fall into the waiting hands of Satan. But the God of all grace was at work, and the Holy Spirit that lives inside the couple has always assisted them to live together, and by loving themselves unconditionally. Mrs Foluke Adeboye is the Mother-in-Israel in the RCCG family; a title deservingly conferred on her as a result of her status and activities in the church. The area in which Pastor Folu Adeboye has impacted humanity greatly is that of total support for the work of God, as a pillar of support for her husband in the ministry. When the mantle fell on Pastor Adeboye, RCCG had only 40 parishes. As at 2017, the parishes in Nigeria have grown to over 32,000, over 700 parishes in the United Kingdom, and many more parishes, spread across 196 countries.

Should God decide to ask Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye for what gift she needs as she turns 69 years old, I feel sure that she will not ask for any personal favour. Like her husband did in 1998, when he asked the Lord to bless members of his church specially as his birthday gift instead of himself, Mrs, Adeboye is likely to follow suit, with a request for God to bless our dear country – Nigeria, the young ones, and the entire RCCG family. Mummy G.O. points out every do often, that God loves Nigeria, with a firm belief that God’s hand is involved in the affairs of the nation; and it is His will to prosper Nigeria. Happy birthday anniversary to Mummy G.O; a true Mother-In-Israel, mentor and coach to millions of people; and a committed wife under the roof of Daddy Adeboye. Now, how many people pray for our spiritual leaders and people in positions of authority? They pray for us; but their is nobody standing in the gap for them, except Jesus Christ. Nigeria will, by the grace of God, and surely fulfill her place in destiny; and in your lifetime. Mummy G.O., I pray that God Alighty may grant Pastor (Mrs) Adeboye a special blessing, that would enable her spend her days in properity; and her years in pleasure.

Nigerians are crying in Aso rock, Nigerian flag burning- Rev Father Mbaka ‘s vision

Father Mbaka Blows Hot On Buhari’s Sickness: See The Shocking Things He Said Today
Fellow Nigerians, I am writing based on information I heard from(currently on at Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria aka AMEN) Reverend Mbaka’s live programme titled ‘E No Dey Again’ held every Wednesday.

Today’s own is ongoing.

Here are some of the extracts of the things I heard him say……

1. 4 Days ago he got a vision to rush to Aso Rock(he said he was told go speedily) to go and see Buhari in UK.He said he was ready to pay for the visa with his money. He went to Aso Rock but nobody was ready to take him to where he is in UK.He went back 3days ago and was also turned down.He said the God he worships is not a tribal God is can heal Muslim or Christian.

2.Last night he was in vision. There was a meeting in Aso Rock.He was part of the meeting. Ibrahim Babaginda was in the meeting. He asked him a question about Buhari but he told him to forget it.

3.Currently it is raining at Adoration Ministry on Wednesday. He said it has never happened before this year. According to him, the rain signifies something. He told everybody to look up and showed them the rainbow on the sky.He said everybody should be mature. That the rainbow signifies something.

4.He also said that as it stands now, there is cry like rain in Aso Rock and in the north.

5.He also revealed that in the spirit world, Nigerian flag is burning.

6.According to him, within a short time what is hidden will be revealed.

7.He also said that Holy Spirit has told him to forget trying to help the situation. He said he has tried his best but people in Aso Rock did not listen to him.

8.He also said that people/the elites already have their visas on hand. That when the problem starts,it is the poor that will perish.

9.He also recalled that there was a time he told Buhari that people were planning to kill him but nobody listened to him.Do you still remember the prophecy?Yes I did.People then were castigating him.

10. He also envisaged that there is likely to be catastrophe. He said that the Yorubas,Hausas and Igbos are not ready for the trouble.

11.He recalled that before Buhari travelled,he was in a vision and saw him.God told him to go and pray for him but the same Aso Rock people did not allow him in.

He is still speaking. These are the few points I could grab. The church programme is still on

Is Nigerian church promoting polygamy? Read this…

Twin Sisters Dedicate Children From One Husband In Akwa Ibom State. Photos

A man who recently got married to female twins dedicated their children from both siblings to God on Sunday, June 25th, in Akwa Ibom . The dedication service took place at the Christian Evangelistic Church, Ikpe Akpa Ewe in Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

According to a Facebook user, “FearGod Akpakpan” who posted in a Facebook group.

Those who commented accused the church of promoting polygamy, the poster replied by saying ” take note it was child dedication not marriage”.

Why I Left Christ Embassy Church

I have not posted in a while but if you have followed my previous posts, you would know that I used to attend Christ Embassy Church, even though I had reservations about some of their teachings. I finally left the church, phew!
I will use this thread to explain why I quit the church and why I may never attend another Pentecostal/Charismatic church which now appears to me like a sole proprietorship, with the General Overseer or lead pastor as the owner.

1. Excessive premium on Giving money

In Christ Embassy the number one thing they lay emphasis on is giving money. The church can use any tactic to get money from members, including manipulation, threats and the likes. While there is nothing wrong with giving money or time, I believe everything should be balanced and moderate. I think that was why St Paul said we should not give out of target, or threat but as we decide in our heart. In CE, there is nothing like moderation or balance when it comes to giving. They tend to believe literally that everything answers to money. You don’t have a job, give and sow seed. You are infertile, give and sow seed. Your father is sick, give and sow seed. Every message ends with a charge to give money. They collect tithes, offerings, partnerships (money), seeds (more money), first fruits (your whole income in January) and plethora of others.

You are also charged to give for Pastor Chris’s birthday and for all the other pastors. And for projects and the likes too.

Before I started worshipping with the Church, I read the story of the account clerk at the Sheraton Hotel who stole from his employers to give to the church. As a member, I could relate with the man. The Church is obsessed with money. They do not mind how or where you get it. If you want to rise or be noticed or win awards, just give big money. It is this obsession with money that led it to start collecting gate fees from members for its New Year Service at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Lagos, which ironically was built by the offerings of the members charged to get in. A lot of people I know personally had gone broke, had their businesses ruined, or fallen out with a loved one because of this teaching by the church.

In summary, at CE, money is everything- EVERYTHING.

2. Sin Means Nothing at CE
Their teaching regarding to sin is so liberal. They rarely even mention it. The belief is that a Christian cannot sin, but only do wrong. The implicit message here is that ‘if you are saved, you are always saved’. You are a son of God and nothing you do or do not do can change the fact. In other words, heaven is sure. I am really not versed in the Bible to argue with this but what I know is that, this teaching is dangerous. It is like giving one a blank cheque or immunity from sin. What you have is a morally decadent church, starting from the top. Sexual sins are so rampant. You must have read the allegations of Pst Anita against her husband, that he was screwing some top female pastors. Such allegations are common in the church and I believe Pst Anita was very naïve in not understanding what was happening under her nose for decades!

It is not just PSt Chris that has been accused of fornication; his younger brother Rev Ken was also accused of impregnating a member of the South African Church when he pastored it. My friend who was in the church at that time (he also has left) told me that in all practical terms, Rev Ken had a harem in SA, with all manners of girls, mainly young university girls, living in his house. His wife was leading the church at Isolo, Lagos at that time. Apart of the Oyakhilome brothers, sin (or wrong-doing since a Christian cannot sin, according to their belief) is very common among the pastors and laity. Including me. I did a lot of things I’m not proud of as a leader, including fornication. But what struck me is that I was going numb, conscienceless in the church. No message speaks to my struggles to stay upright and not to sin. They do not even talk about such things. The focus of the messages is often on how to be successful, perhaps so you can give more money!

In summary, at CE, sin means nothing!

3. Pastor Chris is the orthodoxy
In CE, Pst Chris is the standard; he is the orthodoxy of the word of God. He is in fact treated like God. His words are law. He could cancel engagements, delay marriages and, in my mother’s language, can do and undo!
Everything revolves around him. He has limitless powers and not inhibited by anything.

And what do they say about absolute power corrupts absolutely?

Exactly what you have in the church. No one dares challenge him. In a godly environment, there should have been some enquiry in to the crisis of his marriage with the objective to mend the issues. But no one dares even raise such issues. People like Joe Agbaje are prepared to lie for him. I recall a time when the issue of PST Chris living separately from his wife came up here, Joe Agbaje defended him, claiming that the couple see often and even go on romantic get-away. It was not true. To all intents and purpose, the man abandoned his wife and family in London while gallivanting around the world with his concubines. This was wrong, but who could challenge the KING? The man had also warned members never to discuss pastors and that they should run away where such matters are being discussed. What you have is a situation where people are so afraid to even consider the allegations against him, so as not to be consumed by fire! SMH!!!

With such a context, the man can get away with anything, including polygamy. He can rewrite the bible, claiming that some portions or verses were not clearly written. He can do ANYTHING, and the staunch members and the pastors would defend him. I mean ANYTHING.

They deify him, call him the ‘Jesus in white suit,’ ‘the Jesus of our time’ and such heresies.
Two personal experiences really got me worried.

A. I was in church one day when a leader in a talk show said, “Pst Chris is not only in Ikeja or Lagos. His spirit is even here right now’’. I was shocked by the comments and obvious deification of a mere mortal. But when the pastor came up, he did not rebuke the speaker or said anything about it. I left for home, thinking hard: What has happened to these people?
B. Th other one was during prayer. The person leading the prayer asked us to pray so that the message of PST Chris will take over the world. Message of Pst Chris? I asked myself. I thought we came there because of the gospel/message of Christ? Does Pst Chris have a different message? Of course, I didn’t participate in that prayer but I was shocked that no one saw anything wrong in this, which validated my growing belief that the church was veering out of the Christian lane into something else.

I will stop here for now. But if challenged by the minions of the church, I have more arsenals.

Good day and God bless you.

Woman beats hubby for attending church different from hers

A Zimbabwean Magistrate will continue tomorrow, the trial of a woman, who beat her husband for attending a church different from hers.

Susan Mudzengi, 43, turned her husband, Paul Ndlovu, ten years her senior, into a punching bag on 20 May after the man returned home having attended the African Apostolic Church. She is a facing a charge of domestic violence and public indecency.

She was formally charged 22 June.

The woman is a member of the Apostolic Sect run by a Johanne Masowe. She was slammed with the additional count after she stripped at a police station to avoid being detained in the cell.

Prosecutor Munyonga Kuvarega told the Beitbridge Magistrate, Goodswill Mavenge that Ndlovu is the headmaster at Nottingham Primary School in Beitbridge.

As reported by Zimbabwean NewsDay, Kuvarega said on May 20 this year Ndlovu returned home from church and Mudzengi started shouting at him for attending the Apostolic church.

“Ndlovu was served with supper by his daughter and when he finished eating, Mudzengi grabbed him by the neck and pushed him to the floor before she sat on him and assaulted him several times with fists. The accused also destroyed Ndlovu’s Bible, anointing oil and Mwazha’s(his pastor’s) picture.

“The complainant managed to escape and reported the matter to the police, leading to Mudzengi’s arrest.

Mudzengi was arrested on  June 17, but on arrival at the police station, she became violent on learning she would be detained.

She removed all her clothes in full view of male police officers and other people at the station. She then threw the clothes away. Female police officers later grouped around her and forced her to wear her clothes before she was escorted into the cells.

I still iron my wife’s clothes — Adeboye

Pastor Adeboye
Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said he still irons his wife’s clothes.

Adeboye said this on his official Twitter handle on Saturday.

The renowned pastor, in a series of tweets on humility, said, “I still iron/press my wife’s clothes when I’m allowed to. If you are a true leader, you must always be ready to serve, even when no one can see you.

“If you find a RCCG pastor that is not humble, then it means I wasn’t the one who ordained him or her.”
